“Rob made a great contribution to the atmosphere and success of our End of Season Dinner with a wide repertoire of music which was just right for the occasion and superb musicianship. He was very easy to communicate with before the event and made sure he knew exactly what we wanted, even to the point of improvising appropriate music during the award presentations, which really made it and could only have been done with live music. “Besides a great stage name, Piano Hedgehog brings great engagement to every performance, for an hour set you really do have it all with his own laminated sheets of song requests, the time he takes to speak to each person that arrived for the show and the intricate and wonderful piano covers of various hit songs that add great charm to the evening. Along with this, Rob is one of the most polite, punctual and organised musician I have probably ever met, he considered everything and communicated greatly with everyone who had anything to do with the event.
We will definitely be having him back in the new year for another amazing piano hedgehog performance!”

“My husband and I had Rob play at our wedding in September 2021. Having Rob there to play his beautiful music was something I was looking forward to for two years. I had heard Rob play in 2019 and approached him to see if he could play at our wedding. Luckily he could and I am so grateful.
Rob was very professional and always communicated promptly and kindly which when planning a wedding is everything. We had to postpone because of COVID and Rob was so accommodating & booked our new date in right away.
Rob agreed to learn new songs that I had always wanted at my wedding, including my Aisle song, but any other additional songs for the ceremony and after as well. In addition to taking the time to learn new songs, his music choice was extensive. He met with my husband and I over Skype before hand and played us our music to make sure we were happy with it and sent me the Aisle recording so I could play it my bridesmaids.
I could go on and on as having Him there made my day so special and my guests were so impressed. Thank you again.”

“Rob is a versatile and creative musician with a good knowledge of technology. In January 2020 we made a recording together of a setting I had made of the Gaelic Blessing. Rob provided the recording equipment and guided me through the process accompanying my voice and viola and improvising from the chords I had chosen.”
